Any disc will work, no problems here. All episodes entitled to your disc (see: about each version of the game) are downloadable from the Microsoft store on Xbox One/Series consoles.
Note: All Xbox One games play flawlessly on Xbox Series X|S. MCSM is no exception.

Nothing much is possible here. The closest anyone has gotten to “jailbreaking” an Xbox One is this guy, who used an emulator to get the Xbox 360 version working via using the Xbox 360 backward compatibility in developer mode. This has been tested. S1 works alright with occasional crashes, but S2 has black texture issues, stuttering and audio issues.
