Welcome back to Google Sites!
Currently, the Complete Adventure is the only disc that will work physically. Attempting to download any episodes will result in an error which basically translates to “This content is not available on the store anymore.”
“No, the store has not shut down (yet), you can still currently buy other games/DLCs that aren't delisted. But it's a quirk of how the Xbox 360 versions of Telltale games worked. The season pass would act as an entitlement that would let you "purchase" the DLCs for free, but the Xbox Live marketplace would still treat them as purchases. As such, like with other games, once they're delisted, you can no longer "purchase" them, but you can still re-download them if you had purchased them previously.
The Xbox One version and other newer gen versions work differently - the DLCs are linked to the disc itself, i.e, the season pass disc acts as a license for all subsequent episodes. Hence why physical copies of those versions still work today and can/will download episodes automatically. But on the Xbox 360 version, it was just an entitlement as I mentioned and not an actual license on the disc.”
Thanks to u/CorruptMemoryCard on Reddit for the explanation.
It should be noted that as of July 29, 2024, the Xbox 360 store is now closed.
TL;DR
Despite other platforms, Telltale's games on 360 don't actually entitle you to episodes directly, instead giving you a license to "purchase" the episodes for $0, hence why the episodes aren't downloadable like the other consoles.

Warning!
Do not, ever, install stuff like DashLaunch to the console when running BadUpdate.
It will brick your console, because a tethered mod is not supposed to support that.
For those using RGH or JTAG systems
This guide will still function the same, just skip everything related to BadUpdate.
If you would like to RGH your system, a comprehensive guide is here.
If you would like to JTAG your system, (not recommended, dashboards 7371 or lower) a guide is here.

Title Update -> No-Intro/Microsoft - Xbox 360 (Digital)/Minecraft - Story Mode - Season One (World) (v9) (Title Update).zip
BEWARE!!!: The title update file will be called: E680D8CA438EE92096C0C48F7A44884D1E62109E58.
This is wrong and will lead to issues.
Rename the title update file in step 25 to:

20. Right-click the Minecraft - Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series - The Complete Adventure (USA).zip file -> NanaZip -> Click Extract to "Minecraft - Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series - The Complete Adventure (USA)\" -> When it's finished extracting the archive, go to the Xbox Image Browser application -> Click File -> Open Image File -> Go to where you extracted your folder and open it -> Select the Minecraft - Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series - The Complete Adventure (USA).iso file -> Click Open -> Right-click the first entry -> Extract -> Choose a location to save your extracted content to -> Hit OK:
21. When the Xbox Image Browser is done, you can feel free to close it, then go to where you saved the extracted MCSM Season 1 content, since I extracted it in the same directory as my tutorial files, I will have my 5 files scattered around there, you can feel free to extract them to a specific folder instead:

28. Step 20-25 covers both the base game and title update for MCSM Season 1, however, MCSM Season 2 needs the episodes downloaded manually.

Otherwise, for MCSM Season 2, the other indication is the existence of spoken language packs, indicating that the game is indeed running on a newer version:
