Despite being extremely rare (and expensive) the cartridges hold all 8 episodes (and all 5 for season 2) no download needed. However don't try to play these in handheld made because they will turn your console into a mini jet engine. However on Switch 2, it runs perfectly fine hitting a stable 60 FPS even in handheld mode!!
Yarr!
Homebrew
NH Switch Guide, and The Nintendo Homebrew Discord Server is a great place to get assistance on hacking your switch. BUT DO NOT ASK ABOUT WHERE TO PIRATE GAMES/PIRATING GAMES. obviously. that's what WE'RE here for.
Warning! Obviously--you can get banned from Nintendo's online services from modding your console. So It's recommended you stay on primarily EmuMMC, occasionally SysMMC, and NEVER boot into Stock Nand.
There are a few ways of doing this. I recommend Awoo Installer + NS-USBLoader.
However, other tools like DBI + DBI Backend, Goldleaf, and. ... You may have heard of tinfoil. I have had a bad experience with Tinfoil. Slow, Buggy, Crashing, etc. Now that doesn't mean it may be different for YOU but I'm not gonna bother writing a guide for it.
Before every step though you must download the games though!! I recommend download it from NXBrew.net, or Ziperto.com since they both feature quick and good downloads. (I'd recommend MegaUp, MEGA, MultiUP, and SendCM)
Just now noticing however that NXBrew got rid of their season 1 MEGAup download and 1ficher is VERY slow. So use Ziperto.
USE A VPN AND AN ADBLOCKER!
Download the game, and the software. duh.
And use a good software like 7Zip to extract both games :)
Once downloaded, go onto your switch and hold R while launching into a software. Awoo Installer doesn't properly work while in Applet Mode. Then on your computer, open NS-USBLoader and plug your console into your computer via a USB. (You can install over LAN if you don't have a USB. It's just slower.)
Drag and Drop the .XCI or .NSP file you're trying to install into NS-USBLoader, and now on Awoo Installer click Install over USB. Once you've connected your console to your computer, click Upload to NS on NS-USBLoader.
NOTE: Make sure you've Downloaded and Installed the correct Drivers for NS-USBLoader! You can do so my going into the settings, also make sure you've selected Awoo in the top left. (You can also remove all the "anime-y" stuff in the settings of Awoo Installer. I wouldn't blame you.)
Once they appear on your console's screen, install them to the SD Card. You CAN install them to the system, but it's not really recommended.
Once installed, read the funny message and safely exit out the app by clicking OK -> Exit. (simple)
Note: There hasn't been an English release in a while. You can either look at the GitHub for a translation of all the UI, or download the Last English Version (Version 658)
Download the game, and the software. duh.
And use a good software like 7Zip to extract both games :)
Once downloaded, on your switch make sure you hold R while launching into a game and go into DBI. Most apps (Like this) don't properly work while in Applet Mode. Then on your computer, open DBI Backend and plug your console into your computer via a USB. (You can install over a server if you don't have a USB. It's just slower.)
In DBI Backend, click on Add files and add the season you are trying to install. Then, click on start server. Now on your switch, click on "Install title from DBIbackend".
Pro Tip (Optional, but Helpful): Every time you boot into the game it asks you to link a Nintendo Account you can bypass this message for this and ALL software by generating a FAKE Nintendo Account using Linkalho!
Note: The Switch 2 does NOT have a jailbreak as of September 2025. Do not expect one for at least a few months or years.
so why are we including this? ask droid lmao.
